Practicing similar questions is at the heart of improvement, so we assign homework. The student benefits most from seeing solutions to questions that have already been attempted.
We have study materials here, but are happy to work with study guides that the student may already have.
Affordable Test Prep
The fee for test preparation with Bettie Wailes, the owner of Wise Owl Tutoring, is $40 per hour. The rate for all other tutors is $35 per hour.

8-Week SAT Prep Classes
Because the SAT format is unique and the questions are somewhat consistent, Wise Owl is capable of providing SAT preparation in the format of a class. Classes provide the opportunity for students to benefit from the exchange of information between classmates. Click here to learn more about our SAT classes.
If you like the idea of one-on-one tutoring but think you could also benefit from the exchange of information between students in a classroom setting, consider enrolling in one of our 8-week SAT class.
Each class has a maximum of 8 students so individual attention is still afforded to each student in the class. The SAT class covers all sections of the test and offers two opportunities to take full-length practice tests. |
Often textbooks include what are called "textbook companion sites" to supplement the text. Textbook companion sites typically feature chapter reviews in the form of flash cards, practices quizzes, and other interactive activities. Using textbook companion sites can provide an interactive method of reviewing the material you need to learn for the test. |
